| My name is Casey Dennis, and my wife Carolyn and I are the proud owners of Casey's Kettle Corn.
We built a commercial kitchen and went through the licensing process. Within a few months we had established a nice repeat business and our customers began spreading the word about our kettle corn to friends and family outside the area. We realized that the Internet would be a great way to introduce Casey's Kettle Corn nationwide! We live in the town of Sequim, Washington, located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. Western Washington is infamous for its rain. Our hometown, however, is blessed to be in a "rain shadow" of the Olympic Mountains to our south. The shadow effect provides for an annual rainfall of only 16 inches! Fifty miles west you will find a rain forest that averages 180 inches! Winter temperatures average about 40 degrees, and summer days rarely get past 75. Add to this smog-free rural skies, no traffic jams and the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. It's a great place to live!

It began in 2001 with the purchase of a portable kettle that we set up at local festivals. The festival season is short in our part of the country, and we had many people ask us where they could get our kettle corn during the off-season. We approached a local store chain and asked if they would be interested in carrying our kettle corn. They agreed and we began the next phase of our adventure.
